HOW OUR PRODUCTS MADE
1. Selecting Soybeans
We fly around Australia each season and work with the top Australian farmers to select the best quality soybeans (Non-GMO of course)!
2. Preparing Soybeans
Tofu production begins with soaking and grinding the soybeans before cooking.
3. Cooking and Filtration
The soybeans get boiled down and they’re squeezed through a fine mesh screen in
order to separate the soymilk and soy pulp,
a process known as filtration.
5. Tofu Pressing
Depending on the type of tofu, the curds are then pressed to drain off any additional liquid. The firmer the tofu, the more pressing they receive!
4. Soymilk Solidification
The remaining soymilk gets pumped into curding vats and a firming agent is mixed in order to curd the milk, very similar to how cheese is made!
6. Cut & Packaged
Cutters slice the cake tofu into individual blocks and are sent to packaging where they’re sealed, pasteurized and prepared for shipping.
